The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) is an independent, nonprofit organisation aiming to reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease. It unites national cardiac societies from around the world, allowing the ESC to understand the impact of cardiovascular disease globally. Their motto is: 'Our diversity is our strength'.
The ESC is a source of high quality, evidence-based science and educational resources that pushes the boundaries of cardiovascular medicine.

Pan-African Society of Cardiology
PASCAR is an organisation of physicians from across Africa involved in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease. The Governing Council focuses on identifying key issues, brainstorming novel solutions and designing appropriate programs to combat cardiovascular disease on the continent.
PASCAR forms working relationships with other organisations and departments in Africa with a similar mandate. It has established Task Forces in cardiovascular subspecialties such as interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, heart failure, and cardiac imaging.

World Heart Federation
A leader and convener in global cardiovascular health, the World Heart Federation champions heart health and acts to reduce the global burden of heart disease and stroke, which together claim 18.5 million lives every year.
As the principal representative body of the global cardiovascular community, WHF brings together a diverse network of multi-sectoral actors to share knowledge, guide policy, and provide people with the tools they need to live longer, healthier lives.
